Act I
Scene 1
Lord Enrico Ashton is outraged to find that his sister Lucia is in love with his
mortal enemy, Sir Edgardo di Ravenswood.
Scene 2
Lucia and Edgardo pledge their eternal faith.
Act II
Scene 1
Enrico tricks Lucia into believing Edgardo unfaithful. He insists she marry Lord
Arturo Bucklaw.
Scene 2
Edgardo disrupts the wedding and curses Lucia.
Act III
Scene 1
Enrico challenges Edgardo to a duel.
Scene 2
Lucia kills Arturo; she is mad.
Scene 3
Edgardo, hearing Lucia has died, kills himself.
